Every music project needs a guide before it begins
In order to carry out a project that sounds the way you had planned it and also generates the impact you are looking for in the audience, you need a pre-production work in which you must determine the musical, sonic, emotional and aesthetics objectives of the project.
Before going into the studio and start recording, a well-organised pre-production should be carried out, so that we can create a fairly precise sketch of the most important aspects of the song, in order to be able to trace a path with which to have a guide to work with.
Once we enter the studio to materialise the song, the most important aspects must be clear. As producing is a living and changing process. It is necessary to know how to adapt to the rhythm of each moment in the production, therefore a good organisation is vital to be able to flow correctly when it is necessary, but knowing that we have a guide that brings us back on track if we stray from the marked objective.
The Artist / Producer relationship
When you embark on a musical project you have to bear in mind that you will be in constant contact with the members of the project. You have to create an atmosphere that favours creativity and the right workflow to obtain satisfactory results, and when unforeseen events or problems occur, you have to be in the mood to solve them, so that the creative energy does not stagnate.
I firmly believe that every project needs the right producer/technician who understands the client's needs perfectly.
That's why before starting work I like to get to know the people involved in the project and meet with them to discuss ideas and see if I can contribute what the project needs.
